Screen recording missing

Command+Shift+5 to screen record. Where does it go? I can't find it on desktop, or in Photos in movies, or in recents.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.4

use "shift-command-5" to open the controls again and click on "options".

and in those options look at the "save to" location to see where the recording went.
