Got a new iPad Air 5 running iOS 15.5. I just noticed that the binoculars for look-around are not on the Maps app. Checking my iPhone running 15.3.1, same issue.
Am I missing something obvious or does that feature no longer exist?

Thanks, but I found that page before posting. After looking it over a few more times, I think the key here is the statement #1:
"In select cities, tap 
near the bottom of a map."
That tells me that the only time you will see the binoculars is when you are looking at a "select city".
