Iphone 13 Mini headphone adapter

I have a headset adapter for my iPhone 13. When I plug it in I sometimes get a message from BEATS and Connect button. When I plug my headset adapter I get music playing from an unknow source. I have checked Safari Pages and none of them are playing, the Music App is not playing, nor is Spotify. It also doesn't connect when I make a call, the call continues on the phone, while the music continues to play through the headset.

I would love to resolve this. This same setup works fine on my iPad.

Have you tried restarting your device to see if the issue persists? Sometimes that can resolve minor software issues. Is the iPhone completely up-to-date? You can learn how to update your device here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
