Field Code Results CONCERNING

I have a strong suspicion my phone is ‘hacked’ ‘tapped’ etc..

I have extremely strict privacy settings. I don’t allow almost any app permissions. I have DO NOT ALLOW changes within screen time.

etc…. Etc..

i still do not feel my phone is secure. Calls will drop more often than anyone would consider nothing to worry about. That has happened a few times when calling law enforcement

I just tried some field test codes

please assist with understanding the results

This is an image of the results from dialing *#33#

iPhone 13, iOS 15

If you feel that you are being threatened, continue working with the police. If they feel it is appropriate, they can arrange for a forensics expert who has access to actual, useable information.

There is nothing other end users here can do beyond reiterating that iPhones are very secure and that it is highly unlikely (as in darn near impossible) that your hardware has been compromised.

I would say that screenshot means your carrier doesn't provide information based on dialing that number. Whether or not you get comprehensible information from field codes depends on your carrier. Not all carriers will provide information on all codes. Some carriers don't allow it at all. I just get an automated message that says my call can't be dialed. Keep in mind that these codes were never intended for the end user.

Calls drop. That can be the result of your carrier's network, it can be the result of transient local interference or, it can be a hardware issue.

Unless your phone has been jailbroken or you are a high-profile activist, journalist, or politician whose data is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to acquire, the likelihood that your phone has been compromised is as close to zero as to not be worth considering.

i appreciate that information

my husband and I use VERIZON & I am still the only one that has dropped calls or blocked threats (according to ISP)

I cannot go into details but to further explain why I feel concerned is due to ‘alleged’ activity in my neighborhood & aside from questions re: phone security, I have little doubt that outside interference is very likely. VERY

I have a great many things that are most likely due to interference.

I seek peace of mind, or understanding as to possibilities & how to move forward.

I have hours of communication with various ‘providers’, including VERIZON and law enforcement.

that is why I really want to ensure my phone is ok.

I export privacy reports daily sometimes more than once.

I attempt to understand/ compare my phone’s analytics to my husband’s, etc…

Thank you

i wish I could say LOCAL law enforcement has been helpful.

However, I am glad I reached out to the Apple community and was able to receive knowledgeable HELPFUL feedback
