Folder named Contents in my Applications?

HI all, after I migrated to my new MacBook Air I am seeing a folder named Contents in applications. It says there are 6 items inside.

_CodeSignature 1 item

Frameworks 1 item

info.plist

Pkginfo

Resources 127 items

MacOS 0 items

Is this something leftover from the migration? Do I need this or can I delete the whole Contents folder?

I went from a mid 2012 MacBook Pro Retina High Sierra to this new M2 Air Monterey

Thanks for any help

MacBook Air, macOS 12.4

That’s the contents of any application bundle. It appears the executable is missing because the macOS folder contains zero items. You might be able to see what application it was by opening the info.plist file
