My wife plays some bingo game app on her phone and swiping up from bottom won’t close it and go to Home Screen. So far the only option is to tell Siri to show Home Screen. Is there another option. Just upgraded from iPhone 6S.

I found a way to close it. Slide finger up from bottom and hold in center. That minimizes all open apps. Then slide the app that won’t close up off the screen.
