MacBook Pro (2021) dent issue, hesitant on scheduling an appointment

Hello! I am writing this question in an attempt to receive advice on my situation. I have a dent along with a couple chipped off parts on the bare aluminum case of the MacBook Pro I own. My belief currently is that I bumped the device into a wall while it was in a plastic protective shell bought from a physical Apple store location. I was wondering about if Apple will even consider looking into this considering how tiny the damage is. I also got informed recently that AppleCare+ does not cover cosmetic/accidental damage which is disappointing to hear. This OCD issue I am having is giving myself a difficult time about this. Is this worth setting an appointment up for or not? Shall I look at it as an example of patina (the beauty of imperfection and deterioration/worn out) then living with it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Below are photos of the damaged site and the shell case I had previously equipped on the MacBook Pro:

Apple won't likely do anything for this minor cosmetic issue. I too am totally OCD, but just accept the minor mark and move on with your life. I would, if I were you, stop using a case on your device.
