The 67 watt charger will give you the same fast charge as the 96 or 140 watt, so there is no need for using either the 96 or 140 watt, but you can if you want to, it just isn't going to charge any faster.

So that means the MacBook Air M2 is only technically able to use 67 watts and the charging component will not accept any higher watts even though it can safely handle higher wattage such as the 140W USB-C Power Adapter ?
The only advantage would be if you are using a USB-C power passthrough dock and you have a lot of power hungry bus powered devices connected to it as it steals power from the wall supply for its own needs and its peripherals.
Thank you so much. I've been trying to figure this out. I charge my iPad & iPhone through my MBA, so was wondering if it could "pass through" the excess power of a larger charging block.
