iPhone 6S plus/Tracfone/Verizon

Do I need a new iPhone to be compatible with Tracfone/Verizon network as of July 2022. Are they being truth. I understand they merged or affiliated with Verizon hence the problem. Tracfone service is so poor, I don't trust them. Any info. out there?

Can't help with specifics on Verizon, but if you are asking about whether the iPhone 6S Plus will be compatible with new high performance 5G cellular systems, the answer would be no. It should continue to work on LTE.
