how do i purchase multiple songs with one purchase in Apple Music on iMac?

I want to purchase 40 songs from the iTunes Store to make a paylist that I can export to non-Apple media. I know I can purchase the songs one-by-one, but as we are well into the 21st Century, that seems a little archaic. Is there a way to purchase all 40 songs in one purchase?

concerns about upgrading from iTunes to Apple Music Hello all, I have an old iMac that is still running IOS Mojave because I am afraid to lose my iTunes collection. I have an extensive collection of music I already own. Most are albums (not playlists) and a good portion is of my own music or my brothers' music. I have been afraid to upgrade my Mac because I don't know if all of my music will transfer to Apple Music correctly. I want to be able to keep listening to music in albums, not individual songs. Cant add .m4p files to apple music library Due to another unrelated issue, I had to create a new AppleID which also meant a new Apple Music subscription. I have a ton of my music downloaded locally on my computer and I wanted to reimport my old music to the new library. When downloading the songs they downloaded as m4p files but when trying to drag and drop into the Music app nothing happens. I tried double clicking but nothing works. Doing some research it looks like these songs are "protected" files which I thought meant they would only play on a device with an active apple music subscription but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is there any way I can get these songs again? Manually searching and adding 6000+ songs is a pain and I'm not even sure all the songs are still on Apple Music

You can also purchase songs from Amazon.com. It operates with the normal shopping cart behavior, which may suit your needs better. They will be in MP3 format which is compatible with all Apple and non-Apple players.
