On all PCs I've used all windows can be conveniently hidden instantly to reveal the desktop just by a single mouse click outside of the current window (or clicking an open space on the Windows desktop). How can this be setup on a mac? It's so annoying having to remember the **** keyboard shortcut to minimize all or hide all and requires too much finger acrobatics when I am able to remember, which is often after trying the incorrect combination first. Clicking outside a window on a mac does nothing and I'm just left with a window that insists on obstructing whatever it is that I need on the desktop. Different Safari windows on different Spaces I like to keep Safari windows on different desktops (spaces) on my computer for easy reference. Sometimes, those Safari windows end up on different desktops. Does anybody know how I can pin individual windows to different desktops?

Can MacOS Remember Window Positioning & Size? (Big Sur) How do you get windows to remember the exact position and size on screen after closing them and then re-opening them as you can in Windows 10/11?

Just to add, if you Command + Click on the Mission Control icon in the Dock it also triggers "Show Desktop".

Open System Preferences > Mission Control. Set "Show Desktop" from the Drop Down menu.

You can set a Mission Control shortcut to show the desktop, but it won't minimize the windows. It just moves them out of the way. There is also a gesture available in TrackPad System Preferences to show the desktop in the same way.
