How to add Recycle Bin icon to iPad menu?

Is your question about a Mac or iPad? While this question is in the "Using iPad" forum, and your affected device is shown as an iPad, your iPad doesn't have a Trash.

If it's about a Mac, babowa's answer applies. Judging by your terminology, you've likely come from a Windows machine. On a Mac, Applications are shown at the bottom, on the grey bar. It's called the Dock (Taskbar on Windows). The same applies for the Trash (Recycle Bin on Windows)- there's no intended way to have apps on the Desktop.

You may be referring to your iPad here. If you want to move the Chrome app (or any app) from your Home Screen to the Dock at the bottom of the screen, simply press and hold on the app, then drag it to the Dock.

The iPad Control Centre is simply accessed by swiping down from the top-right of the iPad screen.

Your trash can icon is already on the desktop - in the dock at the bottom of screen

Check your bluetooth devices in the menu bar, it'll tell you the battery level

Google Chrome is not an Apple product, so I have no idea. I do not use it. And, it is called the menu bar at the top of the display.
