Apple Music for Mac 1.2.4.3 - Cannot Download iTunes Purchases, Automatic Downloads Missing

Apple Music on my MacBook recently lost the ability to download purchases from iTunes. On the iTunes panel, the the albums I have bought appear as "purchased" but they are not in my Library and there is no button to download them. Selecting Account->Check for Available Downloads returns "there are no downloads available". Perhaps strangest of all, the Preferences panel no longer has a check box for Automatic Downloads - see screenshot. I'm running Monterey 12.4. Can anyone help???

Anything that shows as Purchased in the iTunes Store will be something that is hidden from your purchase history. See Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support.
