Slow google mail download

I too have several googlemail accounts and a btinternet account which download just as rapidly as they always have. However, my main googlemail account downloads the emails very slowly onto all Apple device

This sounds like contacting Google Support first is the more effective action. Only one account out of several being slow suggests something afoot at the source—Google. Were all Google downloads slow, then checking for Apple issues first would be logical.

For us to continue here, please tell us if you are accessing Gmail from Apple's Mail client or from a web page. If the latter, what browser? A web search shows you do not have a unique issue, and that Chrome has been implicated in gmail slowness. Go figure.

You found the forums section for asking how to use the forum software and for reporting forum bugs. It get few views. I'll leave this here for a bit longer but we really to ask the mods to move it to a more active forums where others with similar Google experience are hanging out.
