Can retrieve my photos on a different Apple ID?
If the photos were synced to iCloud, you would have to sign back to the old ID, let the photos sync to your phone, and then change back to the new Apple ID.
When changing to the ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. I cannot sign into my old Apple ID because I’m on a different phone and it keeps wanting to send a notification to my other number. I can’t get into anything under my old Apple ID. I thought you could access all your info on any Apple ID in any phone?
