iMac Keyboard does not toggle sound for iMac (2013) anymore

Sure, I can go up to the menu bar and adjust the sound, but why do my F11 and F12 (lower and higher sound) no longer work on my keyboard? Internal Speakers for Output is selected in Sys Prefs.

Otherwise, this old iMac works fine.

Go to. System Preferences > Keyboard and make sure that Use F1, F2 etc keys as standard function keys is UNCHECKED
