Apps not uploading from iCloud backup

Why are some apps not uploading at all from an iCloud back up after I reset my ipad

Apps are not restoring from iCloud backup to new device Purchased new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Backed up my iPhone 15 Pro to iCloud, and followed the same setup I have for several other phones. I selected Restore from iCloud Backup, signed in and my Messages and iCloud Photos show up but none of the apps have downloaded. It has been 5 hours since I started and I’ve never had this happen before. Apple tech support chat rep claims that apps do not come over from iCloud backup and it is all a manual process. This has never been my experience. Do I just need to erase the new phone and start over again?

Hello I’ve done all the steps to back up my phone and none of my apps are backed hi I have been trying to back up my phone and each time I do I still don’t see my apps

Why is loading my apps after restoring from iCloud taking so long? Apps on my iPhone 14 Pro Max are taking way too long to download. What should I do?

Apps are not stored in your iCloud backup but will download again as part of the recovery process.
