iMovie for Mac

Is there any way to change the location of picture-in-picture in iMovie on Mac?

I'm not sure whether the iMovie PiP function works the same on iPhone iMovie as on Mac iMovie. The easiest way would be to create a test project on iPhone iMovie and see.

Since this forum is for Mac iMovie you might want to post your question on the iMovie for iOS forum. Here's the link:

Yes. In the Picture in Picture screen you will see the PiP within a rectangle with drag handles at the corners. You can adjust the size of the PiP by dragging the handles. You can change the location of the PiP by dragging the rectangle to a different position on the screen.

If you already have placed and set the Picture in Picture so that the drag handles and rectangle have disappeared, you can simply reactive the Picture in Picture feature, as if starting anew, to make the rectangle and handles reappear.

Once you have created a Picture in Picture, you can slide the overlay picture along the upper timeline to have the PiP insert into a different clip.
