In iMovie Picture in Picture doesn’t stay where I put

Picture in picture in eMovie editing app doesn't stay where I put it, why does it go to another place?

Hi,


Is the PiP changing position when you play the timeline, or is it refusing to be located properly when you are initially placing the inserted clip? Have you inserted any keyframes?


Meanwhile, try deleting preferences and see if that cures it. To delete preferences, open iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new empty library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. Possibly you may need to reboot to set

the changes.  Deleting preferences is a safe procedure that will not cause data loss or disruption to your project.


Also try creating a new project and see if the PiP function works properly there.
