Hi! so I have a bit of a weird problem. I have a Macbook pro 2018 and yesterday I tried to install windows however when I tried to partition my disk it says an error has occurred and that it wasn't able to do so. I tried to run a First Aid scan in the Disk Utility and it doesn't come out with any problems, however when I try to partition my disk in the Disk Utility it says the operation failed and comes out with "Storage system check exit code is 8". I haven't been able to find much information about it online since most stuff that comes up is "File system check" and according to my First Aid scan the exit code for the File system check is 0. Did you let the Bootcamp Assistant.app do the partitioning...(?)

Applications/Utilities/Boot Camp Assistant.app

if not you are setting yourself of for issues.

Install Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp Assistant
