Notes password

Hi I locked notes around 4 years ago on an old device.. I think it may have been fingerprint protected but I cannot remember the password and I have one of the newer phones now so fingerprint isn’t available HELP

AFAIK, you don't lock notes in the Apple Notes app by using Touch ID. With that said, if you don't know the password, you will not be able to access those notes. The only "good news" is that you will have an unlimited amount of tries to unlock it.
