Keyboard language

Somehow my keyboard is in 2 languages, Everything is English (US) except the “ABC” button, That button is in some weird language that looks like symbols. Can someone help me put it in English only?? Oops…it’s an iPad Pro 5th gen.

iphone keyboard language button outside of screen The iPhone keyboard has a globe button to switch languages. This is outside of my phone screen and impossible for me to press. As of right now, i have to manually delete keyboards, and I can only use 1 language or emojis as my keyboard at a time due to this glitch. attached are images of the issue in different apps and orientations. Restarting does not fix this. I will hard restart and see if this hopefully fixes itself next. Posting as it seems others got the issue before.

Magic Keyboard doesn’t change language I have Magic Keyboard. When I change language it changes on the screen but keyboard doesn’t change the language. For example, I’m using Russian, then change it to English, I see it changes on IPad but keyboard is still in English mode.

Caps lock button changes languages - Smart Keyboard - iPad Pro pressing the caps lock button in the Smart Keyboard with my iPad Pro fully up to date iOS 16.4.1, does not cause caps lock but instead pops up a language select menu. Previous comments about this (for years) have been given answers involving selecting the “Hardware Keyboard” option under General / Keyboards, however that option no longer appears anywhere. How to solve this annoying feature?

This answer helped solve the problem by making me think. I had downloaded every keyboard, So I deleted all but English and voila.. all better. Thanks

Go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboards and tell us what is on the list there.

Post a screen shot of what you see which is not right.
