New iPad merging info
Does anyone know how to make sure all of my contacts and messages connect to my iPad from my phone? My iCloud isn’t showing them all.

Are both your iPad and iPhone signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID? Have you properly enabled Contacts and Messages in iCloud for both devices?
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud - enable Contacts, Messages and other iCloud services as required
