Which anniversary

I know how to add an anniversary to my calendar (create event, set to all day, repeat annually). But I can't figure out how to show which anniversary it is each year. It would be nice to be able to see whether that special event happened 10 years ago ... or was it only 9 years? Any suggestions?

How might I create a yearly repeating event on a specific date? I would like to add events like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. which occur on a specific day and month. E.g.: John's BD 12 Dec (every year it is 12 Dec - not 1st Sunday or whatever). Is this possible? If not, why?

Adding Anniversaries to Calendar. I know from years ago explanations, the way to add Anniversaries to my calendar is to add another entity to the calendar. Name it Jack&Jill Anniversary, then put the Anniversary date in the Birthday placeholder. It will pop up annually stating… Jack&Jill Anniversary Birthday For the all powerful Apple, seems a viable but crude ‘workaround’. The question is, is this the only way to get annual Anniversaries to show up across my Apple devices, short of buying yet another app? Seems Apple could just duplicate the code for birthdays and use it for Anniversaries. Thanks in advance, -les

True Anniversary Reminders in iOS Calendar How is it even possible Apple is not automatically showing anniversary dates on the calendar as they do with Birthday…? Please Apple make this update.

What about putting information, like the year, or whatever is relevant, in the event notes?

Click on the actual name of the Anniversary in Calendar and Edit the Name to something Unique to that event
