What is apple_wwnet and why is it slowing my internet.

So this "apple_wwnet" thing is something you're seeing on a usage report from your ISP. Thanks for those additional details.

Searching around Apple's support site doesn't bring up any mention of something with this name. Since it's happening at the same time, do you use iCloud backup on your iPhones? If so, does the backup time coincide with the time you're seeing this usage on the report from your ISP? You can check the backup time in Settings > name at the top > iCloud > iCloud Backup.

If it doesn't seem to line up with that time, then your best bet is to contact Apple to see if they have any more information on what this may be: Get Support

If this is not seen on your Mac, please let us know which device you are seeing this with?

Also, which iOS, iPadOS or macOS are you running currently?

Where are you seeing apple_wwnet specifically? What steps did you take to get there?
