iPhone Unavailable try again in 1 minute

Why did I suddenly get iPhone Unavailable try again in 1 minute when I was just listening to songs on my phone?! I did not press the wrong password 5/6 times as I understand this is usually the reason why your iPhone would be unavailable. I had not pressed anything but was merely holding my phone in my hand walking and listening to songs on my phone?! What happened? My friend said maybe someone was trying to hack into my phone? Surely not. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Greetings Omalicha_O,

It sounds like your iPhone is disabling itself. We know how important having a working iPhone is for you, and you’re in the right place for answers.

Have you tried a normal restart of the device? This simple step can resolve issues like this. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, or 13

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

How to restart your iPhone SE (2nd or 3rd generation), 8, 7, or 6

  1. Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

How to restart your iPhone SE (1st generation), 5, or earlier

  1. Press and hold the top button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the top button until you see the Apple logo."

If that doesn't resolve it, then can you let us know what iPhone model are you using and which iOS version is it running?

Also, are you having any other issues with the device, like any display issues or anything else out of the ordinary?

Cheers!
