Apple ID

My 12 pro max just stopped working...tried a hard reset, etc. I will have to work on that, but in the meantime I got a temporary phone that works. My question is can i go ahead and log into my apple id on my new temp phone even though I didn't sign out of it on my 12 pro max? Will this mess anything up?

Yes, you can. It should not mess up anything. It will link the iPhones and should provide access to your data.
