Unable to use printer on MacOS

I have a Windows laptop and two MacBooks(one Intel and one M1). I am unable to print anything using my HP Deskjet 2510 All-in-One on my Macs. The printer gets added and is shown to be 'idle'. However, when I print something, it gets added to the Print Queue and a couple of seconds later, it disapperars without any printing actually happening. I have tried removing the printer and adding it again. I have reached out to HP for drivers but there isn't any response from their end.

No such issue on my Windows laptop, prints just fine.

Please help.

Hi,

The only reference at the support pages for the HP Deskjet 2510 All-in-One Printer (with macOS 12 selected) is to an HP Easy Start app.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2510-all-in-one-printer-series/5157438/model/5157444 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Since this is a USB-only printer, an appropriate driver would be needed (contrary to AirPrint-enabled models). If the HP Easy Start app does not work for some reason, you could perhaps check whether anything of interest could be found via a tool called HP Easy Admin (it may or may not have software for your printer). HP Easy Admin can be used without a connected printer, which may make it easier for administrators (and others) to download drivers.

If necessary, reset the printing system and re-add the printer.
