Mac M1 2021 Monterey 12.5 Update broke USB-C Display Support

Today, just now, after updating to 12.5 the USB-C display no longer works.

I am a professional and I am extremely frustrated. I have wasted hours of my day dealing with this with no solution so far.

I just bought a really expensive 4K display that I can't use. Did I say I am extremely frustrated?

How can I downgrade to 12.4?

Resolved.

It turns out it was not Monterey that had an issue but the monitor. I guess running the mac update while connected to the monitor may have had some effect on it. After factory resetting the Monitor and unplugging it and plugging it back in it worked.
