PDF file sent on messages

This seems to only work correctly from iPhone to iPhone. Not to a Samsung phone. Or is there a setting I’m overlooking?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. To send a file in Messages, your recipient will need to have an Apple device.


Since you are sending to an Android user, it may be better to try sending it as an email attachment. Check out Add email attachments in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support.
