Removing factory installed SSD Hard Drive from iMac 2020.
I need to remove the above for security storage as I will be away from this iMac for an extended period. Is this feasible. I will reinstall it later.

If you have a link to the article I could take a look. I have to say however, it is a daunting task to take the screen off to get to the inside of the machine and there is no guarantee you can do it without damaging the iMac. And of course your warranty would be void. Not something I would ever do.
Not possible. The SSD is integrated onto the main logic board.
Is this true for 4TB SSd as well. I viewed OWC video and it said it was for 4 and 8 TB models. I have 4 TB model.
If OWC states it's doable for 4TB and 8TB models, I have no reason to doubt them. I haven't seen the video however.
Hmmm. I just went to the OWC site and they have no SSD upgrades for 2020 iMacs that I can find.
My Correction: this was on Mac Rumours: it says is 4TB or 8TB is not soldered, but attached to the Apple T2. I thought this implies it is detachable in some way.
