Hi,
WE are a family of 6.
In the Apple family, we had 6 users too, by mistake I added my sond with two Apple IDs (after he opened a Google Account I added that account since that was the active email.)
I removed his ID so we are back at 5 users in the family.
But now for some reason I cannot add my daughter to the Apple ID since I reached my limit... although we are only 5 in the Apple family.

What happens when you try to add your daughter? Error message(s)?
Since deleting the son's second account, have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting the device/computer, and then signing back in to see if that helps?
