Just got my MacBook Air and was wondering if after you finish setup and can connect my phone to my MacBook and transfer apps that did transfer over

Supported iPhone Apps can be downloaded to the Mac through the Mac App Store -> Account->iPhone & iPad Apps.

If they don't show up there, then they are not supported on the Mac and cannot be downloaded to it.
