I was using external hard drive as Time Machine backup, but now I need to reformat it back to normal external hard drive as it was in beginning without choosing any backup disk right now. In System Preferences - Time Machine I have no option to choose "None disk".
I guess I need to use Disk Utility, does someone know how to reformat it correctly?

Disable time Machine then follow these instructions.

There should be a remove disk button in Time Machine system Prefs when you select that drive.
You then need to erase the drive in Disk Utility as the others have posted.
