Audio splits into 2 different sources

I'll be playing games and suddenly the audio gets REAL quiet.

After investigating, I realize during these times, there will be two audio sources "iphone" and "speakers". It'll be on "iphone" and will come out of the top speakers, like I was on a phone call.

After switching to "speakers" its a lot better, but a notch quieter for a second. Then it returns to normal and I look at audio sources to see a single "iphone" audio source.

It happens randomly and does not matter what game I play. Photo attached is where I am seeing the audio sources.
