Check Battery Health on your phone.

Settings > Battery > Battery Health

if the battery is 80% or less, you need a new battery

Please try a Forced Restart of the iPhone. It is a bit tricky. Pay close attention to the instructions. Keep holding the buttons until the Apple logo appears. If the slider to turn off the phone appears, keep holding until you see the Apple logo appear, then release the buttons.
