My iPhone has been hacked?

I was recently on safari and a pop up showed up and said “you iPhone has been hacked take immediate action” and I was dumb and pushed the close button and downloaded the app that they told me to download, not knowing it was a scam obviously. Is my phone really hacked? I deleted the app right away and closed all my tabs and shut down my phone. Will it be alright? Or what’s the next move to remove the hacker?

You are OK as long as you did not provide any personal info like your Apple ID and Password.

It would not hurt to change your Apple ID Password as an extra precaution.
