If someone tries to access my phone can the 3rd or whichever number of failed attempts take a pic of thief

If a thief tries to gain access to my phone and after a number of failed attempts to sign on to my phone - can the phone take a picture of the thief?

Why isn't Stolen Device Protection offered on the iPad? I set up Stolen Device Protection on my iPhone and my son's iPhone. I then went on to update my iPad Pro to IOS 17.3. After which, I went to Face ID and Passcode to set up Stolen Device Protection and didn't find it available. So if I can have all the information on my iPad, that I have on my iPhone and can use it for purchases, why shouldn't Stolen Device Protection be on the iPad line of products? Really doesn't make sense to me.

Stolen Device Protection 17.3 and iPad I might be missing something, but does anyone know why Stolen Device Protection isn’t available in the settings app of the iPad? I’ve enabled the feature on my iPhone but no option to turn on in the iPad settings? Maybe turning on the feature on an iPhone protects all devices using the same Appleid? If it doesn’t, I can’t see how this is less of a security issue as I use my iPad outside the home fairly frequently where thefts occur, coffee shops etc.

No. That’s not a feature of the iPhone.
