How to export Address book to Excel?

Anybody know how to export contacts from my Address book to an Excel file? We'd like to make an old-fashioned printed phone book.

I don't know of a way to export directly to Excel, but the following works. Open a blank Numbers spreadsheet and open the Contacts app on your Mac. Select all contacts and drag them to the Numbers spreadsheet. Then use the Numbers File menu > Export To to export them in Excel format.
