12w charger better for iPhone battery than 20w?

I have used both types of powerbricks, and I consistently notice that while charging my iPhone 13 with the Apple 12w charger, the phone battery remains absolutely cold and it fully charges in just over 2 hrs.

By contrast, with the Apple 20w charger the iPhone battery becomes warm (sometimes more than I like) and it still charges the phone in 1+hr.

Except for fast charging ( 1+ hr vs. 2+ hrs), in an ideal tech world, is the 12w charger best for the long term life of the battery? I know both are Apple approved etc.
