Trackpad keeps selecting everything!

Recently my trackpad seems to keep selecting everything when I roam around the screen with my mouse. Its been doing it for the past week, and I can't figure out how to stop it.

I dual boot Windows 7 and Mac OS X (10.6.4) and this problem is not occurring in Windows, only in Mac.

Any suggestions???

Sorry, spoke too soon. The problem reappeared this morning. I turned off the dragging again, and it went away.

Running a macbook pro may 2010 same problem only solution seems to be a restart which is a pain in the **!
