Scheduled Payment on Apple Card will NOT pay off entire balance like it says it will
When you schedule an auto payment, there are 2 options:
- Pay My Bill
- Pay Different Amount
- Minimum Due
- Pay set amount like $100, $150, $200, $250, etc
We have 3 installments:
- Apple Watch = $19.91
- iPad Pro = $99.91
- Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro = $29.08
3 installments = $148.90 / month
We have an Apple TV subscription which is $5.46 / month
Right now, Aug 4, 2022, our balance on my Apple Card is $154.36 ($148.90 + $5.46).
So you’d think when I create a scheduled payment (autopay) and choose #1 above (“Pay My Bill”) and choose the 15th of each month, that it will actually ‘Pay My Bill’ (pay my entire balance) every month on the 15th… which in this case is $154.36. It will NOT. It will only pay the installments of $148.90 and leave a balance on my Apple Card of $5.46. Why is this? I have to manually pay off the $5.46 every month.
If I choose option #2.2 above, I can’t manually type in $154.36. I have to choose either $100, $150, $200, etc.
How do I make Apple Card actually Pay My entire Bill on the 15th of each month and not partially pay it?
