Apple ID issue

Hello,

i have bought an Iphone 8+ back in 2017, and was using it by March 2022. I have bought it from store, and it was completely new.

After getting a New phone ans moving mybdata from old phone, I have hard reset the IPhone 8+. And after trying to set up a new account for it, I receive error that my Iphone 8+ Was linked to another email adress and “Find my iphone” : email characters S******@e***.com, which is not any od my emails.


Could you please inform is there any chance I can reuse old phone again? 😀

If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork to include the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it. 


Request additional support for unlocking your device.    -


You used to be able to take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened) and have them remove the ID. This may have changed, so call the store before going to make sure they can help.
