Ipod touch (5th Gen) internet no working

I have ipod touch (5th gen). It shows connection to wifi but internet doesn’t work. Youtube, app store, safari etc. Says no internet or unable to connect. I have another ipad touch same model and it works fine. Even iphone& ipad share same home home router and all runs perfect.

steps taken so far but all in vain

1) Restarted Ipod & router

2) Reset all network setting on ipod

3) factory reset ipod

4) tried connecting to different neighbors router

please advise solution if anyone knows

Unless I'm mistaken, access to things such as the Store, YouTube etc. require iOS 10.0 or later, but a 5th generation iPod Touch can only go up to iOS 9.3.5.
