touchpad not working

Touch pad has died. I've tried multiple fixes (except removing the battery). Any ideas? Macbook Pro Retina 2.6 GHz Intel i7 8GB.

Macbook Pro touchpad clicks but unresponsive I recently replaced the touchpad from my 2017 MacBook pro after my MacBook couldn't detect it and the keyboard (making fans blast and system unusable) . now with the new touchpad installed the touchpad and click and give haptic feedback but and can operate normally, but it and the keyboard is still not detected or responsive from the system. TRACKPAD ISSUE My trackpad suddenly freeze out of nowhere. The first aid I did was turn off my laptop. I thought it’s fixed already but it came back after just a few minutes. When my mac is turned off, I can softly touch the trackpad but when it’s turned on, there are times that it’s having its issues. Also, there is no update available. What should I do?
