how do i disconnect photos from my mac

I had another i cloud account connected to my mac which has photos that are still taking space in my photos. how do i disconnect my mac from those icloud photos?

P.s. i am using a new icloud acocunt now

Preferencs - icloud tan - unchceck icloud
