Does using Voice Controls drain battery life faster?

iOS 18.0.1 sound recognition and battery issue? Starting on October 3, apparently after installing 18.0.1, sound recognition began using large amounts of battery (up to 45% per day according to app usage in the battery settings). I have had sound recognition turned on for some time but never seen this amount of usage before. It is apparently not just usage compared to other apps because total battery has been used up (for example 95% down to 10% in just five hours while I was asleep). I am wondering if this is an issue caused by 18.0.1 and if it is being seen by others. This is on a 14 Pro Max.

Skype draining iPad Pro batter I recently downloaded Skype on my iPad Pro. It drains the battery like crazy! I take classes over Skype from a teacher who is in a country where on Skype is allowed to use. Please help if I can change some setting in my iPad so the batter is not drained like crazy. In 1 hour 45 minutes Skype call, 60% of iPad Pro batter is gone!

iPhone 15 Pro Max problems Phone battery life sucks, says that home screen and wallpaper are using the most battery. Also when using Siri to make a call the phone doesn’t hand the call off to my Beats Pro. Have to hit the speaker button then Beats Pro for it to work. So two issues right off. 2 hrs of light use and at 75 percent already. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

For as far as I know, this doesnt drain your battery life
