I didn’t ask about Wi-Fi. I asked if it says “no service” or “searching”.
But I just read your original post again, and noted that you said it is an iPhone 4. No US carrier networks support the iPhone 4 any more, as they have shut down their networks that the iPhone 4 used. And carriers in most of the world are following suit.

Do you see No Service or Searching at the top of the screen? If so, this is the problem that must first be solved.
