Can someone please address the issue with CarPlay not being supported on pioneer radios? It’s been an issue for years now. I’ve been getting an error saying device not recognized for the last year, at least. When I bought the radio it worked fine. The radio doesn’t update, and I’ve not changed the set up this is on apple’s end.
If it worked before on a different version of CarPlay, it is probably the fact that the Pioneer radio will not update. Contact Pioneer support to ask if they support the latest version of CarPlay. That is their responsibility. It is up to the radio device manufacturer to ensure their device supports the latest version of iOS/CarPlay.
