Security Lockout despite NO PASSCODE attempts
While biking I carry my iPhone in a back jersey pocket. I've done this for many, many years with no problem. But recently (the upgrade to 15.6, perhaps?) when I remove the iPhone from my pocket I see a "Security Lockout" message, sometimes with a time. This despite there were absolutely no intentional login attempts. Since I'm often biking in areas with weak or non-existent cell coverage, the instructions for a complete lockout are infeasible. Fortunately, so far, the delay to try "again" (even though there were no tries to begin with), have been in minutes. But the reason I get the iPhone out of my jersey pocket is to check maps I've downloaded. A 15-minute delay is problematic. A complete lockout would be dangerous. The strangest thing is if I just leave the phone sitting there for the indicated time, it just pops on as if it were logged in. Is there anyway to turn off this "security" feature because for me it is a danger rather than a security. I realize the risk if I lose my iPhone, but I know how to use Find my Phone to lock it or erase it.
